Flanged Gate Valve

A flanged gate valve is a type of valve designed to control the flow of fluid through a pipeline by raising or lowering a gate (a flat, rectangular disc) within the valve body.

The flanged ends allow for secure, bolted connections to the piping system, providing a reliable seal. When the gate is lifted, fluid flows freely through the valve; when lowered, it blocks the flow completely.
